2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Name and email address when you register
• Business name, city, phone number in your Brand Kit
• Logo and brand assets you upload
• Payment information (processed securely via Razorpay — we never store card details)
• Ad briefs, captions, and content you create on the platform

Information collected automatically:

• IP address and browser type for security
• Pages visited and features used (for improving the platform)
• Session data stored in PHP sessions

Information from third parties:

• When you connect Google or Meta accounts, we receive OAuth tokens — stored securely on your account only
• We do not receive or store passwords from Google or Meta

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the BariqAI platform and all its features
• To process payments via Razorpay and activate your plan
• To generate AI ads, captions, and content using your brand details
• To publish content to Meta and Google on your behalf (only when you request it)
• To send important account notifications (plan activation, expiry reminders)
• To improve platform features based on usage patterns
• To comply with legal obligations under Indian law

We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not show advertising based on your data.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure VPS servers protected by Cloudflare. We use:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Hashed storage for sensitive identifiers
• JSON flat files secured by server-level permissions
• No sharing of raw data with AI providers (only your ad brief text is sent to OpenAI to generate content)

Brand kit logos are proxied through our servers — external URLs are cached server-side, not exposed to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI (DALL-E 3 + GPT-4o) — Used to generate ad images and captions. Your brief text is sent; no personal account data is shared. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to AI processing.
• Razorpay — Processes all payments. We receive payment confirmation only. Card/UPI details are never stored by us. Razorpay's privacy policy governs payment data.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — Connected via OAuth when you choose to. Used to launch ads and post content on your behalf. Your access token is stored securely on your account.
• Google — Connected via OAuth when you choose to. Used for Google Ads and Search Console. Your Google token is stored securely on your account.
• Pexels — Used to source stock video clips for AI video ads. No personal data is shared.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of incorrect data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email us at nrf@bariqai.com with the subject "Data Request" and we will respond within 7 business days.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies:

• Session cookie — Keeps you logged in during your session. Expires when you close the browser.
• We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies from third parties.

8. Data Retention

• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
• Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax laws
• If you delete your account, all personal data is removed within 30 days
• OAuth tokens (Google/Meta) are deleted immediately when you disconnect

9. Children's Privacy

BariqAI is a business platform intended for adults (18+) and registered businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify users via email and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of BariqAI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
